Sophomore university student studying cybersecurity at Old Dominion University. I was born and raised in Virginia with an expected graduation year of 2026. I believe cybersecurity is about the realization that every piece of information is fragile enough that even children that are first feeling what a computer is, can tamper with any piece of data, file, code etc. That being said cybersecurity is more than just what it sounds like on paper. It’s research and development, time and even some level of dedication to other skills to be able to understand its nature and the also some science involved. All my life I have had an analytical mindset capable of understanding many natures which plays a lot into cybersecurity. My goal is to use the skills learned and my identity to protect the the very modern way of identity that is information in cyberspace. Knowing how to secure something that fragile and manipulative says better futures for myself and everyone.
