Welcome!

My name is Jordan Kaleoaloha Canaday and I had the privilege to be a student in the HMSV 440W course. This semester was particularly interesting as it was conducted during a worldwide pandemic, being the COVID-19 outbreak. While the world went through changes, our class adapted well and our professor made the accommodations needed to keep moving and to focus on learning- a healthy coping mechanism for what we are facing.

This course was very fun, as it required a lot of interaction within myself. I learned of myself that I am very eager to understand things correctly, however, I often reach out to do so after I have failed. I have learned from this course to advocate for myself when I do not understand something before I fall behind.

I enjoyed participating in this course as a I love writing, working on projects start to finish, and learning more about my community!
