Hi, I’m so happy that you’re here. Let me introduce myself.

My name is Jorge and I’m originally from Houston but spent most of my 20’s in DC. Of course, Houston is home but I moved to DC to work for the professional ballet as a dancer. I graduated from NOVA with an associate’s in psychology so I’m not surprised to be finding myself in another psychology class. For the longest time, I thought I was going to be a therapist but there were a few changes in my life that steered me towards a different path. My major currently is professional communication and psychology has played so much into that. Thankfully I’m able to communicate better because of my learning in psychology. As I’ve learned, there are countless personalities that we’re surrounded with every day, and being able to communicate to different types of personalities or otherwise called codeswitching is an essential tool for success in the world. Ultimately my goal is to continue to grow these skills to master the field of communication to work in marketing for fitness.
