My name is Joshua VanKuren.

I am a student at Old Dominion University. Currently enrolled for a Cybersecurity Major.

Most would likely consider me to be a fairly simple and straight-forward person. I have spent most of my life working with computers both recreationally and professionally. Computers are the tool that I am most comfortable working with. It therefor makes sense to pursue a career that works closely with computers.

I do not know if it will be a cybersecurity career exactly, I may end up working more as a designer, programmer, or IT professional. I prefer to keep future plans and the means to achieve them loosely defined so as to avoid becoming too reliant on a plan that is vulnerable to happenstance.

All I know at the moment is that I am decent with computer technology and have a desire to learn more.
