Hi!

My name is Jocelyn Peguero and I have recently embarked on my cybersecurity journey! I find myself immersed in the tech world and have an increasing curiosity on the ins and outs of our expanding digital era. I am currently pursuing my bachelors degree in Cybersecurity and Old Dominion University. My main goal for this upcoming year is to build the foundational skills and knowledge I will need to become a cyber expert. I have begun working on my programming skills and taken a liking to cryptography and the ethics behind cyber crimes/attacks. I have earned my associates degree in social science: psychology and enjoy researching the root of cyber crimes. I plan on spending more time researching the interconnection between the psychology of cyber criminals and their interest in digital information.

Some of my other goals involve connecting with the cyber community and other cyber students alike. Networking and building strong connections is also a large part of cybersecurity. I look forward to learning more and following the teachings of the many available mentors. I have dedicated my time to understanding the foundation of digital networks and the threats against them. I am open to having varying discussions and collaborating with other great minds.
