Philosophy

My name is Joshua Thomas and Teaching and music have been two passions of mine for as long as I remember. I have always had a close connection with almost all of my teachers. Most of them have given me an imprint that I never want to go away. They all have taught me lessons that I wouldn’t be able to learn anywhere else but their classroom

Career

I have performed in multiple ensembles over my years of being a musician, I have done all of the extracurriculars in high and middle school and done everything I could to help out my teachers in the process. In high school, I was enrolled in this program called teachers for tomorrow. It’s a class full of future educators who want to learn the world of education before going to college. In this class you are put into an internship at any school in the area. Fortunately, I was placed at my middle school which was right next to my high school. I taught 6th inclusion math, although my internship was cut short due to covid, I still cherished every single moment I had with my kids in that classroom.
