I am a dedicated cybersecurity student passionate about protecting the rapidly evolving digital landscape. With a focus on IoT security and mobile phone scams, my goal is to contribute to safeguarding critical systems and ensuring personal data privacy. Currently, I am working towards applying my skills in real-world scenarios through coursework, internships, and professional opportunities.

About Me
As a student in the Cybersecurity Program, I am developing a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. My coursework in CYSE-200 and other related classes has provided me with foundational knowledge in topics like the CIA Triad, risk management, and ethical hacking, all of which are essential to understanding modern cyber threats. I’m particularly focused on how these principles apply to IoT devices and mobile security, fields that represent growing vulnerabilities in both personal and enterprise networks. On a more personal note, I enjoy drone racing, model building, creating things with cad software, 3d printing, creating mods for games, spending time with my dogs, and Dr. pepper.

Cybersecurity Coursework and Professional Goals
My studies have taught me that cybersecurity is about more than just technology—it’s about strategy, ethics, and continual learning. In courses like CYSE-200, I’ve explored case studies that connect cybersecurity issues to real-world consequences, from data breaches to phishing attacks. These experiences have shaped my career aspirations to work in areas where security solutions are critical for maintaining trust and privacy in an interconnected world. My current goal is to secure a position in the IT or cybersecurity field that allows me to address these challenges directly.

Connecting to Professional Goals
As technology continues to integrate into every aspect of our lives, the need for skilled cybersecurity professionals is growing. My focuses align directly with my long-term goal of becoming a cybersecurity analyst. This role will allow me to apply my academic knowledge to practical challenges, helping organizations defend against both current and emerging threats.
