I am a first-generation Mexican-American student pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, with interests in cyber forensics and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). My goal is to build a career in cybersecurity that allows me to investigate complex problems, analyze information, and continually learn about new areas of technology. I have always enjoyed exploring, finding things, and understanding how different pieces fit together, which is one of the reasons cybersecurity and forensics appeal to me. I grew up in the Richmond area and have a strong connection to the community. I love living here and hope to continue building my education and career in the Richmond area while contributing to the community that has been a part of my life.
