About Me
I arrived at Old Dominion University the fall on 2016. I was 18 and eager to start my college life somewhere far and new. I entered college with the intentions to double major in computer science and fashion merchandising. Eventually, I settled for just majoring in Computer science. At the time, fashion merchandising was only offered as a minor and not a major. By spring semester, I realized computer science was not for me. I found myself searching for a new major sophomore year. Exploring majors lead me to Cyber Security. After taking multiple classes within the discipline and developing a huge interest in the discipline I committed to major in Cyber Security. I have always and an interest in criminal justice. I’ve always been interested in justice system, my interest led me to minor in criminal justice. Today, I am a senior graduating in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Cybersecurity and a minor in Criminal Justice.
Upon graduating I would like to pursue a career in areas societies related to criminal and cybersecurity like compliance, public policy, fraud detection/prevention, banking, criminal justice reform, and the federal or state government. My ultimate goal is perusing my law degree and become a lawyer. I would like to practice criminal law or corporate law.
