Resume

I have been working since the age of 16. I started at Chic-fil-a as a team leader, where I assisted in managing a team, creating schedules, and handling any customer service issues. I left after two years and began working at David’s Bridal. I was a dress stylist for the next year and a half, helping women find the wedding dress of their dreams. Here I gained sales experience and learned how to use product knowledge to influence a customer. After 18 months, I then went to work at Outback Steak house. My time here was exciting and fast-paced. However, in April of 2020, the restaurant closed due to Covid-19 and I was unemployed during this time. As soon as I could I found a job at Hummingbird Macaroons. I managed the store, training new associates, planning meetings and events for the business, taking and shipping orders, and overall daily tasks. To help focus on school, I went to a less demanding environment and currently work at Vans as a retail associate.

Awards/Recognitions

I have received an associate of the month award four times in the past year at my current job. I have been promoted and recognized for my leadership abilities. I hope to continue excelling in workplace environments that pertain to my field of study.

Activities

I hope to work in a real estate firm or be involved in social media marketing. I plan to take an internship over the summer for a small business running their social media and promoting their store. I will continue working part time and going to school full time for the next year before fully pursuing my dreams.
