My name is Keira La’Shay Coles. My hometown is Victoria, VA. I choose Old Dominion University because of all the amazing things I have heard about it. When I toured the university it was just wonderful and everything I wanted in a college. Also because they have a great Nursing program even though it’s in Virginia Beach. A few of my interests and hobbies are that I like to go shopping, hanging out with friends and family, and also going to sport games. Other fun things about me is that I make people laugh, I give great advise, and I’m just a smiley person! 

My major that I’m pursing is Nursing. I choose this major because I love helping people and I have several family members that is in the medical field. Experience that I have in this field is that I took the CNA program in high school. Then when I passed my state boards I got a job at Chase City Health and Rehab Center as a CNA. I loved working there with my co-workers and residents. I just didn’t want to stop there, so I decided to further my education by coming here to Old Dominion University.
