Professional Bio sketch: 

I am a dedicated dental hygiene professional and current graduate student at Old Dominion University, preparing for a transition into academic dentistry. My professional background is rooted in a commitment to general dental hygiene advocacy and improving access to care through community health clinics. I aim to leverage my clinical expertise and passion for public health to educate the next generation of dental hygienists. 

Short- and Long-term Professional Goals: 

• Short-term: To obtain a faculty position within an accredited dental hygiene program where I can lead clinical instruction and facilitate student engagement with community health initiatives.  

• Long-term: To contribute to the development of dental hygiene curricula that prioritize community-based learning and the integration of advanced technologies to bridge gaps in patient care. 

Research Interests:  

My research interests include the evaluation of dental health auxiliary impact statements and the role of academic institutions in supporting community health clinic sustainability.
