About Me!

I am Kim Hernandez Martinez, a first generation Salvadoran American, fluent in Spanish. Currently a freshman at Old Dominion University, pursuing a degree in cybersecurity. In my studies, my mainly focus is to further my knowledge in botnet, encryption, and many other concepts in order to become an IT Cyber Security Officer for the Navy.

My day-to-day is well spent either in the Perry Library or the Batten Arts and Letters Building where I enjoy reading and use my creative ability to write. I am an enthusiastic, organized and open-minded student, that demonstrates strong work ethic, and always willing to learn. Also, passionate about books. When I am not in school you can find me exploring art galleries, music, painting or at a local coffee shop.
