My name is Kirubel Belay, and I am currently a sophomore pursuing my degree in Cybersecurity with an expected graduation in 2028. I am developing a strong interest in cybersecurity and the role it plays in protecting individuals, organizations, and critical systems in today’s digital world. As a student, I am focused on building both my technical knowledge and practical skills in areas such as information security, risk management, and threat analysis. Through my coursework and hands-on experiences, I am learning how to identify vulnerabilities, understand potential threats, and apply strategies to help secure systems and data. In addition to my academic work, I have gained experience working in structured environments that require attention to detail, responsibility, and problem-solving. These experiences have helped me develop skills such as communication, adaptability, and critical thinking—qualities that are essential in the cybersecurity field. I am particularly interested in continuing to grow my knowledge in areas like network security, ethical hacking, and digital forensics. My goal is to build a career where I can contribute to protecting systems and information while staying at the forefront of evolving technology and security challenges. This ePortfolio highlights my progress, projects, and the skills I am developing as I continue my journey in cybersecurity.
