Hello how is everyone. My name is Kyle Primus. I currently live here in the Hampton Roads area. Growing up my family moved around a lot because my father was in the military, but my family and I moved to the area when I was in middle school.

This is my first semester here at Old Dominion University. I recently transferred here from Thomas Nelson Community College. My classification here at Old Dominion University is a junior, and my major is Cybersecurity. Growing up I have always had a great interest in technology. Since elementary school I have had a subscription to Popular Mechanics magazine which featured articles about popular science and the current innovations in technology at the time. The articles focused mostly on automotive, home, outdoor, electronics, science, do-it-yourself, and technology topics.

Still to this day I enjoy reading up on technological innovations and thinking about how they can impact the world. Being very interested in innovation I have always known that I wanted to have a career path in the field of technology. Another thing I like to do in my spare time is create music using a MIDI keyboard in a program called Logic X. I also enjoy working out, reading books, and watching Sci-Fi. In a few years, I plan on graduating with a bachelor’s degree as well as having a career in the cybersecurity field.
