Hi, my name is Laila, and I’m from Richmond, VA. I chose ODU because I love that it’s close to the beach, and the programs here are exactly what I was looking for to help me reach my goals. Baking is one of my favorite hobbies—I find it relaxing and rewarding to create something delicious. I’ve also been playing soccer since I was 6, and it’s always been a way for me to clear my head and take my mind off everything. Along with soccer, I did gymnastics for several years, which taught me discipline and strength. That’s a little bit about me!
