About Me

Hello! My name is Annika LaRoche and I am a junior at Old Dominion University. I am a Biomedical Sciences major with a pre-health concentration. In addition, I am minoring in Psychology. I am taking PSYC 304 not only to satisfy my minor, but because I want to learn more about the psychology behind people interacting with each other. I love learning about psychology and the different aspects of it. It helps me understand how people interact with each other and the psychological components. My goal in life is to go on to medical school and become a surgeon. By having a minor is psychology I hope it helps me strengthen my skills with intereacting with people. By taking social psychology I hope it helps me strengthen my people skills for when I interact with patients and patient families.

When I am not studying for my classes you can find me relaxing with a nice book. It is one of the many things I like to do in my free time. I also love to draw when I want to get a little creative. I love the outdoors and one of my favorite things to do is go hiking. Most of what I do in my free time is winding down with calming activities and staying active. I do love school and enjoying studying because the more I get into my major the more I enjoy the topics we are learning.
