My name is Lauren-Marie Ba. I am an undergraduate transfer student at Old Dominion University studying Biomedical science and pre-health. I am a proud member of the Theta Chi Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. 

I grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, but my family is originally from the west African country Senegal. I fluently speak French and can comprehend beginner Spanish. 

After graduation, I intend on attending medical school and aspire to become a gynecologist and obstetrician.
