Hello! My name is Lauren Chubb and I am an aspiring School Librarian! I developed a passion for children’s literature while pursuing my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Integrative Studies at George Mason University. During my last semester at GMU, I decided to further my education by pursuing the Masters of Library Sciences program at ODU in hopes of becoming a certified school librarian. Currently, I am an Early Childhood Educator at a local preschool.
In my free time, I enjoy taking Zumba dance classes as well as practicing Figure Skating. I have been dancing and skating my entire life for over 20 years, and for many years I traveled out of the state for figure skating competitions. I also love to relax and get lost in a good book– especially in a library setting! I have always valued Education throughout my life, and I look forward to completing my work in the MLIS program at ODU!
