Hello, my name is Lorie Alyssa Williams and I’m a Psychology major! Although I don’t have a clear idea of where I want to be in the future, my inclination is that I’ll become a school counsellor or a social worker. I also am aiming for a minor in Sociology, so I thought that Social Psychology would fit perfectly into my course load! I’ve decided to major in Psychology because I’ve always had an interest in helping people and to do that, I think I should have a deeper understanding of humans in general. Through my education I believe I can do that as well as develop strategies to participate in research opportunities of which I also have an interest.
