Hello, my name is Lauren

I have been a student at Old Dominion University since 2020. I currently have one full-time job and one part-time job through my family’s businesses. With working in a family business means I am always on call whether if it between locations or someone calls out and someone needs to pick up that shift. Somedays I go in early for deliveries or stay late to finish up my orders. We own two exotic pet stores, an exotic show traveling team, and a new sports bar. We travel 26 states along the coast for our exotic pet shows. We have two travel teams, team one is ran by my father and team two is ran between me and one other worker. If there is only one show on the weekends and someone is sick, I am the call in so my schedules are never set in stone and can be chaotic. In our stores we work with reptiles, small animals, saltwater and freshwater fish. We do poisonous and venomous between both businesses. I am a double major in Psychology and Human Services, my goal is to get my masters and work towards being a psychologist. I love helping and working with individuals who need assistance with their mental well-being. I am taking this course for my major and I would like to learn any course that involves psychology.
