Greetings! Welcome to my MLIS School Librarian e-portfolio. My name is Letitia Howell and I am a MLIS school librarian candidate at Old Dominion University. Currently, I teach second grade in Richmond Public Schools. Previously, I taught Kindergarten for several years. As an elementary classroom teacher, it is important to provide a strong academic foundation for students. As an aspiring school librarian, I hope to make a difference in student achievement in reading. Reading is the foundation of a student’s success. One day, as a school librarian, I hope to be an inspiration to students by implementing what I have learned from the program in providing instruction, technology skills, and resources that will benefit students academically. Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy my e-portfolio presentation!
