My name is Lyn Doan, my family migrated to the US from Viet Nam when I was 12 years. In the summer of 2019, I finished an internship with the Department of Justice. In the Spring of 2020, I will join a study aboard program in Chengdu, China. In May of 2020, I will receive my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Chinese Studies. My academic goals are to receive a master’s degree in Chinese Language and Culture, and a Ph.D. in Linguistics. My career goals are to work as a Linguistic Intelligence Agent or work at the U.S Embassy in China.

My mission is make a difference in the world and protect my family. I desire to help those in need, protect the greater good, and serve the people above all else.
