About Me: Bomani Maddox

My name is Bomani Maddox, and I am currently in my senior year at Old Dominion University. I have already graduated with my associate degree in Human Services from Reynolds Community College in Richmond, Virginia. I currently live in Richmond with my wife of 5 years who is a literacy coach at a middle school in the Richmond area. For over the last 18 years I have been employed at Bon Secours Mercy Health System in the Lab Distibution department. My major that I am pursing at ODU is a BA degree in psychology. With my associate degree and bachelor’s degree I hope to work in a state agency or nonprofit, or in a human services job in a healthcare system. I am taking this course because this course is in my curriculum for my major in psychology. Honestly at this moment I am trying to narrow my career goal direction and looking at each decision very carefully on making the right decision. God willing, I will be in my career whatever that consists of in coming year. I know I will accomplish these two goals of graduating and finding the right career path for myself also in the coming year.
