Hello! My name is Mica Agyao and I am currently a sophomore at ODU. I am majoring in Nursing with a double minor in Psychology and Health and Wellness. I plan to work as a Pediatric Nurse and earn my Master’s degree so I can become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. 

I am taking PSYC 304 because I find it very interesting to see how society impacts an individual. I have been studying Sociology for the past few semesters and I am looking forward to seeing how they interact with each other. I also believe that learning about behavior and feelings as a result of societal pressures would be beneficial for me because I may work with kids and teens whose views are negatively impacted by social norms. I think that PSYC 304 will challenge me to view situations from an individual’s perspective instead of viewing things from a sociological perspective.
