Hello, my name is Katie Malsch and I am a senior at Old Dominion University. My current undergraduate degree is in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and I will be starting my master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in the fall. My career goal is to become a Speech-Language Pathologist and perhaps after a few years of practicing, continue my education to go into research in the field. I am taking this course as an elective because psychology is very interesting to me and I hope to apply the knowledge I learn in this course to my daily life and career. My specific interest areas in psychology include positive psychology and social psychology.
