About Me

My name is Mark Culberson, and I am a cybersecurity student and military veteran based in Suffolk, Virginia. I am currently a junior at Old Dominion University, where I am building a strong foundation in cybersecurity with a focus on protecting systems, networks, and data in an increasingly complex digital landscape.

My military background has played a significant role in shaping who I am today. Through my service, I developed discipline, adaptability, leadership, and a strong sense of responsibility, qualities that translate seamlessly into the cybersecurity field, where attention to detail and mission focused execution are critical.

I am deeply passionate about achieving excellence in everything I pursue. Whether it’s academic work, professional development, or collaborative projects, I approach each goal with dedication, integrity, and a drive to continuously improve. I thrive in challenging environments and take pride in learning new technologies and problem solving strategies that strengthen both my technical and analytical skill sets.

As I continue my journey in cybersecurity, I am motivated by the opportunity to learn, protect, and contribute meaningfully, bringing together my education, military experience, and commitment to excellence to make a lasting impact.
