About Me

Hello all,

My name is Naya Marks but oftentimes people call me Ny. I am in my senior year at Old Dominion University majoring in Communications with a minor in Human services and a concentration in Lifespan Communications. My decision to major in communications is a stepping stone for my ultimate career goal which is to be the chief of communications for a financial institution. This position involves companywide communication along with being the spokesperson on behalf of the entire organization. Being that I am currently employed at a credit union I have access to more background knowledge needed to obtain the position. This course is not required of me to take, however I thought the description was interesting and I needed the credits to graduate in May 2020. Aside from my educational and professional life, I love to listen to music, sing, and try new hairstyles on my natural hair. I am the youngest of three and the first child to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from a four year University so this year is very important to me and my family.
