Hi everyone! My name is Tylar Marren and I am a junior here at ODU. I am an out of state student from Philadelphia. I major in sports management with a minor is psychology. Being that psych is my minor, I am taking this course to fulfill those requirements. My goal right now is to obtain a better understanding of my future career. Currently, I do not know what I would like to do after undergrad, however I do know that I want to work in sports and specifically find a career that integrates psychology with sports. I find it very fascinating how much of a role the mind plays in sports, an activity that most people view has physical, but the mental game is much stronger than the physical aspects. I’m looking forward to switching gears this semester and learning more about psychology rather than sports management, but do not get me wrong sports management is amazing!
