About Me

From my perspective and my way of inspiring others, I have two phrases that have kept me on the path of leadership and success. The first is the sky is the limit. Do not restrict yourself to the opportunities that appear to you in life. Believe in yourself, and you will see what you are capable of because if you dare yourself, you will do imaginable things and exceed your expectations. The second is being a leader means sharing your knowledge and giving credit to other people because there is no better way than to achieve success surrounded by people who appreciate you and have helped you get where you are. My name is Lizbeth Martinez Piche, I am 23 years old and from El Salvador, Central America. I have two nationals, Salvadoran and American. I will tell you my story. I came to the United States in 2016 with my family, I did not know any English, and I set myself many goals, one of them was to graduate from university. As time advanced, in 2019, I graduated from high school and applied to Old Dominion University, and that is how in the Fall of 2019, I started my career in International Business. Soon after, the pandemic appeared, and I could not complete my first year of college as planned. However, that did not stop me, and I continued studying from home; those were difficult times, but two years later, I decided to enter a minor in Maritime & Supply Chain Management. Today in 2023, after four years of working hard and achieving every goal I have set for myself, I graduate in May 2023.

My following goals are:

  1. Get my Master’s at Harvard Business School.
  2. Get my Ph.D. at Harvard.
  3. Get more leadership workshops.
  4. In the long term, I want to open my own company.
  5. Being able to represent all women in the business field.
  6. Being able to be the difference between others at an international and national level.
