About Me

Hi! My name is Marvin Jones, Jr.  I’m originally from Virginia but spent most of my childhood in Hawaii. In my spare time I enjoy playing basketball along with other activities. Most of my time is put in to the gym because it is something I’m deeply committed to. My friends and I are there day in and out putting in 100% effort even when it’s not asked. We hold each other accountable, and never leave each other behind.

I also enjoy working out, primarily with my brother. This past year I’ve helped him stay consistent and put in work, even on days he didn’t want to. Through this, it strengthened our brotherly bond and allowed us to push each other to connect on a deeper level.

Along with working out, I keep family and God first. I love and care about my family deeply, I love spending time with them and making good memories. Often I’d rather spend time, and money, on experiences rather than gifts because it’s something better to be remembered by.

On my computer at home I develop software and have experience with coding video games. I create animations and do a little modeling on the software Tumblr. I created an online Discord coding group allowing for over 560 people to learn just as I did. This is through a step-by-step process on numerous websites on the web. 

My interest in the military stems from my parents primarily, my father being a SWO and my mother a Warrant Officer in the Navy.  Our household has allowed me to grow up and develop with more structure throughout my upbringing.
