Welcome to my e-portfolio. My name is Matthew Burd, and I am a Cybersecurity student at Old Dominion University. Throughout my education, I have developed a strong interest in cybersecurity, networking, and information technology while gaining hands-on experience through coursework, security labs, and technical projects.

My studies at Old Dominion University have allowed me to build a foundation in areas such as network security, vulnerability analysis, threat analysis, Linux, system administration, and cybersecurity fundamentals. Through these experiences, I have learned how important it is to approach security from both a technical and analytical perspective.

As I complete my degree, I am looking forward to applying the knowledge and skills I have developed in a professional cybersecurity environment. My goal is to continue growing as a security professional and pursue opportunities where I can contribute to protecting systems, networks, and organizations from evolving cybersecurity threats.
