Hi, my name is Madison Brown. I’m a freshman at Old Dominion University, working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity.

I’ve always been fascinated by how technology influences nearly every part of our lives, especially when it comes to protecting people’s data and privacy. That’s why I chose cybersecurity. I want to learn how to build safer digital spaces where everyone can feel secure. Currently, I’m exploring the various ways cyber threats impact individuals and communities.

I’m excited to develop my skills and knowledge throughout my college years, discovering new tools and techniques to defend networks and information systems. More importantly, I want to use what I learn to make a real difference, whether that means safeguarding important data or helping others become more aware of digital security challenges. This is just the beginning of my journey, and I’m eager to face the challenges and opportunities ahead with determination and curiosity.
