My Spanish 102 course at Old Dominion University has taught me how to communicate in Spanish at a novice level. With Spanish, I am able to understand key points in sentences as well as have brief conversations. I plan to learn Spanish fluently and be able to fully communicate. I want to be able to use Spanish as an asset to my career.

Aside from learning Spanish in Spanish 102, I learned about many Spanish-speaking countries. I learned about several kinds of traditions and foods. I also had the pleasure in educating myself on cultural values and different types of perspectives.
