Hi!
My name is Madelynn Denny & I attend ODU’s BSN Nursing program, with an expected graduation in May 2025.

As a non-traditional student, I am very fortunate to be in the ODU BSN program, and I understand that this is just the beginning of my nursing career. Becoming a nurse was simultaneously one of the easiest and most challenging decisions, but I know I’ve made the right choice for my family and myself.

I am excited to see how I grow through the program and where my education will lead me in my future endeavors.

• Every year I maintain a vegetable garden
• I have worked as a CNA in the state of Virginia since 2016, and I currently work in the NICU
• My son is four years old
• My favorite class prior to the nursing program is Chemistry
