Hello, my name is Martha Mendez. I’m 20 years old and live in falls church, VA. I have a background in speaking Spanish, since both my parents are from El Salvador and came to the US about 30 years ago. Not only that, but I’m currently living back at home, but I was on campus during the fall semester, but for a family emergency I had to come back home this spring semester. I have to speak Spanish at home, so I’m pretty fluent, but the only thing is I struggle with writing it and using the correct punctuation. I’m the first person to go to college out of my family. Furthermore, I love cats and going out with friends, and going to the gym. I am the only girl out of 3 boys. My brothers are very protective towards me, but sometimes it gets a little too annoying.
