Hello! My name is Mercedes Asiedu. I am currently a senior as a first generation college student at Old Dominion University studying cybersecurity with a minor in sociology. I plan on graduating from Old Dominion University with my bachelors May of 2024. I am currently a healthcare representative with United Healthcare and along with that I have various experience within the customer service field. Some of my previous careers include: teacher assistant with Minnieland Academy, assistant manager with The Children’s Place, residential desk receptionist with Old Dominion University and lastly, healthcare representative with United Healthcare Group. I’m interested in pursuing a government career once I graduate with major companies such as Facebook, Google or with the U.S Navy as a cloud analyst, cybersecurity architect or cybersecurity consultant.
