In fluid mechanics, I expect to learn about fluid properties, flow behavior, equations governing fluid motion, and applications such as pipe flow, boundary layers, and lift and drag forces. In thermal applications, I can expect to learn how to apply the first and second laws of thermodynamics to different systems and cycles.
