Thermal Applications is a class that uses the concepts learned in thermodynamics and applies them to different real world situations. These situations include car engines, jet engines, steam power plants, and other thermal cycles. This site will go over what I have learned throughout my experience in this class. I expect to learn about more complex heat cycles throughout the rest of this class and I believe we will go through more cycles where there are phase changes between liquids and vapors along with supbstances other than air and water.
