So im actually very interested in cybersecurity because most of my life ive been into computers and also just playing video games so this is a common thing because I like to learn what and how the computer works, after playing video games for awhile I know that for bigger games and mostly well made multiplayer games they need to have a firewall set up and anti-cheat because to not only make a game fair for every player and to also not to have players abuse their system and mess with the source code or servers with are basically as we would know as DDOS attacks with you can see happening to alot of streamers on the streaming platform called twitch. Ive always found this to be interesting like how were players able to get pass such strict ways just to cheat in a game and how were fires walls set up to actually check over and players files to see if they have cheats. thats the biggest reason why I changed my major over to cybersecurity thats not the only reason but when I saw the cyber attacks on the gas lines around 2021 i then relized that cyber crime is something thats actually not in the fore thought of peoples minds becasue most or more worried about physical crimes just casue they are more common doesnt mean you should be oblivious about them. Thats why im interested in cybersecurity and am very excited to learn more about these concepts and later down the line hopefully putting them to good use in the real world either for a job or personal use.
