Hello,

My name is Michella Jones, I am an African American and African Studies major at Old Dominion University, I am a Chesapeake, Virginia native, specifically South Norfolk. In my years at ODU I have learned a lot about not only myself but others around me and the path I want to take in life. I currently have intentions on becoming a Juvenile Probation Officer upon my graduation from ODU. I feel as though I have a lot to the youth that I will encounter not only from my wealth of knowledge but also my experiences. Although I am not sure what the future will bring for me I am sure that whatever it brings I will be able to make the best of it and give positivity to others.

I was previously a psychology major, but I found that it was not right for me. I am taking this course to score a better grade and improve my GPA. Being that I switched majors I no longer have any genuine interest in psychology.
