My name is Michella Hope Jones. My mother’s name is Arlonda Ramsey-Jones  and my father’s name is Michael Jones. As you can see I am named after my father. He also named me Hope his reasoning for it was because he hopes that I do something great in the world and I plan to live up to that. Also I am a Psychology major and Sociology minor at Old Dominion University. I chose psychology and sociology because I enjoy learning about others and finding ways to explain other people’s action. I also enjoy learning about the ins and outs of society. I plan on working up to my masters then becoming a children’s therapist. I was inspired by my therapist Dr. Arcona to become a therapist. I enjoy children and helping so what’s better than helping children. I believe that if we help children while they are children they will be better adults.  This is what I use as motivation to get me through the tough times of college.
