Hello There!

My name is Ashley Kirchberg. I am currently studying to become a librarian at Old Dominion University. I have been an English teacher for fourteen years. I have been lucky enough to teach a variety of settings and locations. These include about five years teaching overseas. While I love my job and the possibilities that it holds, I am looking for a new challenge. My hope is to become a school librarian at the middle school level. This will allow me to remain within the school environment, working with students, but not have all the pressures of being in the classroom. I will be reach more students and make a larger impact. Librarianship appeals to me because I have the chance to help people gain knowledge and information.
