Welcome to my ePortfolio, I hope you enjoy having a look around!

I’m Amanda Tumminelli, currently in the final stretch of earning my Master of Science in Library and Information Studies at Old Dominion University. With a rich foundation in executive management, human resources, and educational programming, I’ve dedicated much of my career to the empowerment and development of at-risk youth. My experience as the CEO of the IRIE Transitional Program honed my skills in creating impactful programs and managing complex operations, accomplishments I’m eager to translate into the library sector. My role as a Library Media Specialist at Renaissance Academy further allowed me to implement educational programming and services directly benefiting at-risk youth, enriching my library and community engagement skills. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Human Resource Management and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership, both of which complement my library studies. As I prepare to bring my passion for community service and my commitment to accessible education to the field of librarianship, I remain focused on fostering spaces where learning and personal growth go hand in hand, leveraging strategic partnerships and innovative programming to enhance library services and community well-being.
