Hello!

My name is Theresa and I am a mother of three, wife and special education teacher. I live in Suffolk Virginia and am originally from Wisconsin. I have two rescue dogs, a lab mix and a hound.

My favorite genres to read are fantasy and science fiction. I love to find myself pulled into another reality when I read. Reading is self-medication for me. Nothing like getting lost in another world for a few hours to ease the stress of real life.

I am pursuing my Master of Library and Information Studies degree at Old Dominion University. This site will serve as a place for me to post assignments, blogs and resources as I work through the program. My goal is to work in a school library. I’m undecided about what age I would prefer. I find each age level to be intriguing.
