Hey, I’m Blake Murphy. I graduated from Potomac High School back in May 2024, and am currently attending Old Dominion University. I was born and grew up in the state of Virginia, and enjoy video games, reading, and long walks.

I’m looking to attain my Bachelor’s Degree in ODU to expand my cybersecurity knowledge and secure my future. I’ve been in a few introductory cybersecurity courses back during high school, but I’m really looking forward to learning the fundamentals during my time in CYSE 200T. 

I also intend on obtaining an internship before the four years are over. I know it’s a requirement for graduation, but I also think that experience itself is the key to succeeding in the field. Internships give you the easiest way to gain that experience, so it’s something I definitely want to look into later down the line.
