Hi, My name is Myla Gorges. I am from Virginia Beach, VA, and grew up here. I chose ODU because they have amazing programs and the people are wonderful. It’s also close to home so I can be near my family. I love to bake and cook. As well as watching Sunday night football with my dad. A fun fact about me is that I have an article written about me as well as a commercial about me promoting my job as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and swim coach. Another fun fact was that I was on the road to going D1 for swimming but injured my shoulder and had to quit swimming. I also swam competitively for 16 years! I love going to country music concerts and to the beach to surf in the summer with my friends.
