Greetings! My name is Na’Kyra Jackson. I’m from Stanardsville Va, a small town in Greene County. I didn’t choose to go to ODU for a big significant reason really, I chose it because my sister goes here and I thought it’d be more convenient for my parents.

I love to read, spend time in nature, and photograph the world around me! I love to live in the moment I really do, but I also love having memories to look back on, so I’d say taking pictures is one of my biggest interests and my all time favorite thing to do. Spending time outside in nature kind of intertwines with that because my favorite thing to photograph… is nature. There truly is nothing else like it. Reading is kind of a newer hobby I have. I love it because it helps you escape into whatever fantasy the words take you to. It’s just a great way to free your mind and relax for a bit until you need to focus on the outside world again. I’ve grown to really love it these past few months!
