My name is Nicholas Lask, a current sophomore at Old Dominion University, where I study Sport Management and have a minor in psychology. I love watching hockey, Formula 1, UFC, soccer, and tennis, and I hope to work in sports media for a professional team/league one day. I currently work within the ODU Athletics Department as a sports photographer and the social media manager for our Men’s Tennis team. This website is to host my blogs for my Sport and Strategic Communication class, and I hope to turn it into a creative space to share my experiences throughout the semester.

I have been doing sports photography since my junior year of high school, where I started by being a yearbook editor for two years and discovered my passion for capturing moments during sporting events. On top of my internship with the ODU Athletics Department, I have held two previous internships doing sports photography as well. The first one was with Virginia Beach United in the summer of 2024, and the second was with Virginia Beach City FC/Atlantic in the summer of 2025.
