Hello there! I am originally from the Appalachian Mountains of southwest Virginia. I have been told that I have an accent, but I don’t know what ya’ll are talking about! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Radford University and a Masters of Library Science from Appalachian State University. I moved to Chesapeake in 2021 and have been working at ODU since January this year. I love being a part of the Monarch Nation!  

My husband and I have a sassy 9 year old daughter named Caitlin and two equally sassy Corgis named Emmett and Beaux. They are all quite dramatic and you may hear stories about them. I love reading, hiking, traveling, and all the dogs!
